I have a close friend, we are so close, friend doesn't cover it. But we aren't having sex or anything, though if we were, I guess we might be boyfriends some day. But we aren't. For awhile I've been looking for a way to describe him, and what he is to me. I found the words the other day, so I'm gonna post them here.

He is my heart.

Not to be fucked

or consumed in passionate flames.

But whose

fluttering presence

gives me life.

Hi all, I recently joined the site, and I guess it's about time I introduced myself a little. I started really learning about 10 years ago, mostly with wicca and witchcraft kinds of stuff, but after I while I guess I've wondered away from a lot of that. At this point I don't work within an established tradition. I still have major influences from wicca and witchcraft, but I've also drawn from pop culture, some chaos magic, and a good dose of random articles from the internet. Most of my magic at this point is framed by concepts from radical social movements, so I tip my hat now to the feminism, anarchism, and the civil rights movements, as well as to queer and transgender theory.

I tend to be a more solitary kind of folk, so sometimes I forget that I'm kind of out there even within the pagan umbrella. If I'm not making sense and you have a question, please ask, and I'll try and clarify as best I can.

Currently, I am most interested in trying to set down the things I believe. I'm too young to write a book yet, but I'm just trying to place myself. Anyway, in other news, my life is currently most directed by my desire to learn Spanish and looking for a job.
